Spin-on hydraulic oil filter element, 1″-12 thread, 94mm OD x 198mm, cellulose 17 micron (Inline FH57592 / Cim-Tek 70146). Replaces XYZ LN020020 (12887, SE-70-10N) on the headstock oil manifold of XYZ RLX 555 x 3M and RLX 780 lathes. Element only – manifold, bowl and washer not included.

Headstock oil filter for XYZ RLX lathes - direct replacement for the OEM oil filter element used in the headstock oil manifold on XYZ RLX 555 x 3M and RLX 780 lathes. Replaces XYZ part LN020020 (product code 12887, specification SE-70-10N).

Supplied part: Inline Filters FH57592 (SKU FIN-FH57592), the cross-reference replacement for Cim-Tek 70146 - the element type used in the XYZ headstock oil manifold. Spin-on round element, 1"-12 thread, 94mm maximum outside diameter, 198mm high, cellulose media rated 17 micron. Max working pressure 175 PSI (12.1 bar), max differential pressure 25 PSID (1.7 bar), max flow rate 22 GPM (83 LPM). Removes particulate from lube oils, gear oils and synthetic fluids.

The filter sits in the headstock oil manifold, so it collects the swarf and dirt picked up out of the headstock oil circuit. On a long-bed lathe like the RLX 555 x 3M and RLX 780 this is the filter that keeps the headstock oil clean. Symptoms of a blocked or wrongly fitted element: rising oil temperature in the headstock, noise from the oil circulation pump, or oil that looks dark and gritty when drained from the manifold.

This is the filter element only - it does not include the manifold, the bowl or the sealing washer. Check the number printed on the element you are replacing if you are unsure.
