It is a general-purpose auxiliary supply of the type used to power contactor coils, solenoid valves, encoders, relay banks, coolant pumps, door interlocks and small motors on machine tools, and it suits general control-panel and automation work. The low-profile 30mm chassis mounts directly to a panel or bracket.
No input selector switch: this model accepts the full 85-264V AC range automatically, so it connects straight to a UK 230V supply with no switch setting to check.

Before you order
- Match the voltage. This is a fixed 5V output unit - the voltage is not adjustable across ranges, only trimmed a few percent around nominal.
- Size on current, not watts. The rated power figure differs slightly between voltages within a series (the 90W here is the manufacturer's rating for this variant). Check the current against your actual load.
- Allow headroom. Running continuously near 100% of rating shortens component life; a supply sized 20-30% above the running load is better practice.
- Fit in a controlled enclosure. The unit is an open-frame style component intended for installation inside a machine or control cabinet, not for standalone use in a damp or dusty area.
- Earth the chassis. Connect the ground terminal to protective earth before applying power.
